The parallel universe is not far from us, it may be right next to us

We live in a real world, a predictable and descriptive world.

In theory, as long as we can grasp every detail and apply the laws of nature, nothing can predict the state of anything in the next second.

For example, when shooting a basketball, as long as we know the strength and angle of the shot, as well as the wind speed and direction, humidity, temperature and other conditions at that time, we can know whether we can score a goal or not.

There is also the weather forecast. If we can master the movement law of each air molecule and water molecule in detail, plus the comprehensive factors such as the gravitational rotation speed of the earth, we can accurately predict the weather.

To put it bluntly, if we can do the above details, we can predict everything in the future. Everything from your birth to your death can be predicted.

Of course, this is only a theoretical analysis, and it is difficult to do in practice.

However, the emergence of quantum mechanics completely shattered our understanding of the real world. Quantum mechanics shows that everything is unpredictable and uncertain, and this uncertainty is the inherent nature of things.

According to the interpretation of quantum mechanics, we cannot determine the position and velocity of microscopic particles at the same time. When the velocity of microscopic particles is more certain, the velocity will become uncertain. Conversely, when the velocity of a microscopic particle is more certain, the position is more uncertain.

The microscopic particles in the quantum world are always in a very fuzzy superposition state, just as the famous thought experiment “Schrödinger’s cat” describes, there is actually a “dead and alive” cat in the world, and this cat is in a “both dead and alive” state. Can you believe the superposition of “dead and alive”?

There are even more terrifying experiments, the electron double-slit interference experiment. There are many explanations for this bizarre phenomenon, one of which is the parallel universe theory.

The theory holds that the instant a single electron passes through the double slit, the universe splits, splitting into countless parallel universes containing anything you can imagine.

In reality, we all make choices all the time, and at the same time give up other choices. That doesn’t mean other options don’t happen, they happen as well, just in different parallel universes.

Different choices lead to completely different lives. In the real universe you may be poor, but in the parallel universe you are already a billionaire.

That is, everything that could happen will happen eventually, just in different parallel universes. For example, in a universe where asteroids didn’t hit Earth, dinosaurs didn’t die, and dinosaurs, not humans, still ruled the planet.

And such a parallel universe is not far away from us, maybe even beside you and me, but it is difficult for us to communicate anyway, there seems to be some kind of natural barrier between different universes, just like different dimensions !
